History Recursion Software Inc. was founded in December, 2001 through the management buyout of several award winning product lines from ObjectSpace, Inc. Over the years, we have continued to enhance the products in our portfolio as well as develop new products with leading capabilities in distributed computing, interoperability, and edge computing (mobile devices). Recursion Software has 18 patents issued that are related to distributed computing and agent technology, and 30 in various states of pending and filing. We remain active in the development process and continue to release software updates each quarter. Most recently, we have gained recognition for expanded functionality in Voyager Edge, which leverages intelligent mobile agent technology along with interoperability between mobile agents in Java and .NET. Paul A. Lipari, President and Chief Executive Officer Paul has more than 20 years of progressive experience managing finance and operations with leading IT companies. Paul has managed strategic planning, acquisitions and divestitures and SEC compliance. Paul successfully executed two initial public offerings including DSET in 1998. Paul was CFO of Objectspace, Inc., a leader in software development tools including Voyager Java Development Platform and C++ Toolkits. Paul acquired the products of Objectspace, Inc. in 2001 and formed Recursion Software, Inc. Paul graduated from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Bob Deanna, Chief Technology Officer Bob has 22 years of experience in software architecture, development and mentoring. Bob's expertise is in distributed application frameworks such as J2EE, CORBA and ATMI. He has architected and developed applications and middleware in Java, C/C++, COBOL, PLI, and Assembler on operating systems ranging from MVS to Unix, Linux and Windows. Bob has worked previously in numerous roles ranging from VP of architecture, senior consultant, lead engineer and trainer/presenter. In these capacities, Bob has worked either as an employee or long-term consultant for such companies as Verizon, ATT, Swiss Re-Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Bloomberg LP, 3M Health Information Systems, Merant Software and Zeosoft. Bob received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a continuing education degree in C/C++ and Unix Programming from New York University.	Download photo

John Patoskie, Vice President of Operations & Engineering John has 21 years of experience in software development, customer service, management and information technology. Prior to joining Recursion Software, John served as director of engineering and customer service for ObjectSpace, Inc. Previously, John held senior management positions at MetaSolv, Inc., AnswerSoft, Inc., and Tivoli Systems, Inc. John began his career with Northern Telecom, Inc. and Bell Northern Research, Inc. John received his B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Southern Methodist University.
